Bellow is a list of the relevant links and resources that you may find helpful.
An extensive library of organizational development resources can be found within OrgWise and CapacitOrg, the organizational self-assessment tools that were developed in Phase 1 of the project. Additional Resources will be created within the next three years and added to te resource library along with other relevant resources created by the sector.
Standards and Best Practices:
- The Development of Services and Sectoral Standards for the Immigrant Services Sector : Discussion document on the results of a 1998 joint COSTI-OCASI research project aimed at developing service and sectoral standards for community based immigrant serving organizations.
- Settlement Service Standards: An Inventory of Work-in-Progress and Future Steps : Report on key issues in service standard development, providing a contextual overview of the settlement sector and highlighting existing initiatives in the settlement and related sectors.
- Canadian Council for Refugees – National Settlement Services Standards Framework (html) / (pdf version) : A basis for development of standards, with a section on organizational values, governance and policy.

- HR Council for the Voluntary and Non-Profit Sector : The HR Council has a comprehensive tool-kit for managers, employees, and board members, including sample policies and tips on planning.
